A senior executive with Fortune 500 companies, Geralyn R. Breig has run operations on five continents for some of the world’s leading brands. She has more than 30 years of experience in president and chief marketing officer roles at major multi-national corporations and over 10 years of experience as a board director at publicly traded and privately held companies.

Ms. Breig is the president of Revlon, North America, a leading global manufacturer of cosmetics and personal care products. Since 2018 she has also been an independent board director for Hanes Brand Inc., where she currently serves on the Audit Committee and chairs the Governance and Nominating Committee.

Prior to taking the helm of Revlon in 2023, Ms. Breig served as president of Clarks Americas, a division of C. J. Clark Ltd., where she led a $1 billion premium footwear division responsible for operations in North and South America. Before that she was president of Avon North America, a division of Avon Products Inc., a then $11 billion consumer products company operating in 110 countries worldwide, and president of Godiva Chocolatier International, where she managed a $200 million business with over 800 employees spanning 85 countries and multiple sales channels.

Ms. Breig was elected to the American Medical Association Board of Trustees as its public member in November 2023 and officially began serving her four-year term in June 2024. She has previously served on the corporate boards of 1800flowers.com and Welch Foods Inc., as well as on the not-for-profit boards of The Avon Foundation, The Personal Care Products Council and The Fragrance Foundation.

With extensive expertise in strategic planning, marketing, brand building, e-commerce, business model transformation, governance and succession planning, Ms. Breig’s skill set and top-tier management experience are well-matched to the AMA’s current needs.
