The HOD will be meeting June 7-12, 2024 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. 

Voting delegates will introduce business to the AMA House through presentation of resolutions on behalf of their delegation, or as individuals.

• All-day section programming
• 6 p.m.—HOD opening session

Saturday, June 8, 2024

• Morning open for caucus meetings
• 12:30 p.m.—HOD second opening
• 1:30 p.m.—Reference committee hearings

Sunday, June 9, 2024

• 8 a.m.—Reference committee hearings
• 1-3 p.m.—Health equity forum
• 3 p.m.—Election Task Force 2 Open Forum
• 5-7 p.m.—All candidate reception

Monday, June 10, 2024

• Morning educational sessions
• 1 p.m.—HOD Business session 

Tuesday, June 11, 2024

• 8 a.m. election session
• 9 a.m.-3 p.m.—HOD business session
• 5 p.m.—Inauguration of AMA President Bruce Scott, MD. Purchase tickets by May 20. Tickets will not be sold on-site.

Wednesday, June 12, 2024

• 8:30 a.m.—HOD Business session
