The HOD will hold its 2024 Interim Meeting from Nov. 8-12 at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, Orlando, Florida. Meetings of the AMA groups (sections) will take place on Nov. 7-8, preceding the HOD’s opening session.

Registration is now open for the 2024 Interim Meeting.

United

To book United Airlines reservations and receive a discount:

  • Enter origin, destination and travel dates

Available flights will be displayed. When an available flight is selected, the discounted fare will automatically be calculated.

The discount is valid for travel three days prior to and three days after the official meeting date(s).

Southwest

Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort

Reserve your room online at the meeting headquarters hotel, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. You can also call 1-800-227-1500 to make a reservation or modify an existing reservation with their central reservation operators. Make sure to mention that you will be attending the AMA House of Delegates meeting.

Rates

  • Run of house (single/double): $322*

Please be sure to make your hotel reservation by the cut-off date of Oct. 14, 2024. AMA cannot guarantee room availability after the published cut-off date.

*These rates are per night plus 12.5% for taxes. The resort fee is included in the guest room rate.

Canceling your reservation

Your individual deposit is refundable if notice is received at least five days prior to arrival. To cancel, call the hotels in-house reservations (1-800-227-1500) or go to your online confirmation email and cancel that way.

Disney

Tickets are valid seven days before, during, and seven days after the meeting dates. To enter a park, both a park reservation and valid ticket on the same day are required. To make park reservations, you will need to sign in to an existing Disney® account or create a new one and link each ticket. Park reservations are subject to availability. Universal Orlando Resort

Universal Orlando Resort is offering AMA meeting attendees exclusive specially priced after 2 p.m. convention tickets (after 4 p.m. during peak seasons). Pricing is subject to change without notice.

Hogwarts™ Express
Because the Hogwarts™ Express will transport guests from one theme park to another, they will need a park-to-park admission ticket to ride the train.

Camp AMA

Camp AMA welcomes children ages 6 months–17 years old. Children participate in age-appropriate activities including arts and crafts projects, active games and much more in a safe, nurturing environment. This service is being offered complimentary by the AMA. Meals are not included in the program, but parents can order lunch when they register. Registration closed Oct. 31.
