   1. New governing council officers, annual meeting resolutions, Distinguish Yourself IMG Summit and the upcoming Research Challenge deadline.

   1. New section IOPs approved, a call for A-25 volunteers, and part one of the "Training in the U.S. on a visa" webinar series.

3. March 2025

   1. Resolution submission deadline, register for webinar "Pursuing Residency on a Visa" and an introduction to IMGS GC Resident Member Rosalynn Conic, MD, PhD.

4. February 2025

   1. Governing council applications are open, the review and approval process continues for the section's Internal Operating Procedures (IOP), the Resolution and Policy Committee holds its first planning meeting of the year, and a call to recognize IMG contributions.   

1. November 2024

   1. Thoughts on the recently concluded 2024 Interim Meeting and introductions to IMGS Delegate Deepu Sudhakaran, MD, and Alternate Delegate Luis Isea Mercado, MD.  

2. October 2024

   1. IMG Recognition Week is Oct. 21-25, highlighting how IMGs positively influence communities and the U.S. health care system. This issue provides an opportunity to share accomplishments and submit nominations for IMG Physician Mentor of the Year.

   1. The September 2024 issue of IMGS members and news highlights discusses the three main goals of the IMGS strategic plan.
