Anand Singh, a medical student at Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at Texas Christian University, serves as chair of the Medical Student Section (MSS) Governing Council for the 2024-2025 term.

Singh has been a member of the AMA since 2021 serving in various roles, including chair of the AMA Committee on Legislation and Advocacy, past chair of MSS Region 3, student representative to the AMA Foundation Board of Directors, past MSS delegate representing the American College of Preventive Medicine and many other leadership positions.
