Julianna Sim, a medical student at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences, serves as DEI officer of the Medical Student Section (MSS) Governing Council for the 2024-2025 term.
The MSS is a member interest group within the AMA for medical students. The governing council is responsible for directing MSS efforts at the national level to improve medical education and advocate for the future of medicine.
Sim has been a member of the AMA since 2021, serving as policy chair and advocacy chair of Region 5.
