Identifying and Responding to Credentialing Complexities

Before COVID-19, physician burnout, depression and suicide were significant issues in U.S. health care, affecting clinical care. Recent studies show a national increase in physician burnout to 53%, with many physicians not seeking help due to stigma and application concerns.

As part of the Credentialing Insights Webinar Series, this webinar discusses the problematic questions found in applications for medical licensing, employment and credentialing, which demand disclosure of mental illness or substance use disorder (SUD), further contributing to these challenges.
