Submit an Abstract

The American Medical Association invites medical students and residents to submit an abstract for presentation at the AMA Poster Showcase. The Poster Showcase will take place on June 6 in conjunction with the 2025 AMA Annual Meeting of the House of Delegates at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Space is limited. 

Submit an abstract by May 11

Abstract submission is now open for the AMA Poster Showcase! 

You must be an AMA member and registered for the 2025 AMA Annual Meeting of the House of Delegates to participate. Join or renew today.

  • A unique opportunity to fine-tune your presentation skills in front of nationally recognized medical leaders and your peers.
  • Excellent catalyst to receive funding from your institution.
  • Opportunity to attend the AMA Annual Meeting of the House of Delegates.
  • Submissions open March 6
  • Final submission deadline on May 11; acceptance letters dispersed on a rolling basis.
  • Poster set-up and welcome reception information to come soon!
  • The primary author MUST be the presenting author and is required to attend the Poster Showcase
  • One presenter per poster.
  • Participants may only submit one abstract for consideration
  • Maximum poster size: 36"H x 48"W.
  • Participants that exceed the maximum poster size will not be permitted to present
