2024 IPPS Annual Meeting highlights

The AMA Integrated Physician Practice Section (IPPS) held its annual meeting on Friday, June 7, in Chicago, Illinois, with approximately 70 participants in attendance. The meeting was chaired by Adnan Munkarah, MD, president, Care Delivery System and chief clinical officer, Henry Ford Health, Michigan.

IPPS offered several education programs including "Value based care: Update on the AMA-AHIP-NAACOS VBC Collaborative" and "Health system impact: Reducing physician burnout." The final program, "Innovation Lightning Rounds: IPPS Physicians Leading Healthcare Transformation," is available on the AMA Ed Hub™ with CME credit available (login required).

IPPS continued its policy impact with two resolutions before the House of Delegates: Using Personal and Biological Data to Enhance Professional Wellbeing and Reduce Burnout and Addressing Social Determinants of Health Through Closed Referral Systems.
