2025 IPPS Annual Meeting highlights

The Integrated Physician Practice Section (IPPS) held its 2025 Annual Meeting on Friday, June 6, in Chicago, Illinois, with record-high attendance—approximately 90 participants. The meeting was chaired by Adnan Munkarah, MD, president, care delivery system and chief clinical officer at Henry Ford Health (Michigan).

The AMA helps physicians build a better future for medicine, advocating in the courts and on the Hill to remove obstacles to patient care and confront today’s greatest health crises. 

The IPPS welcomed physician leaders from AMA Health System Partners attending the IPPS Annual Meeting for the first time, including:

IPPS hosted several timely education programs, including:

  • Pharmaceuticals in Value-Based Care—Lessons Learned from IPPS Health Systems

IPPS continued its policy impact by supporting two reports under consideration by the AMA House of Delegates, both originating from IPPS-sponsored resolutions:

  • BOT 26: Using Person and Biological Data to Enhance Professional Wellbeing and Reduce Burnout
  • CSAPH 02: Addressing Social Determinants of Health Through Closed-Loop Referral Systems
