2024 IPPS Interim Meeting highlights

The Integrated Physician Practice Section (IPPS) held its 2024 Interim Meeting on Friday, Nov. 8, in Orlando, with approximately 60 participants in attendance. The meeting was chaired by Adnan Munkarah, MD, president, Care Delivery System and chief clinical officer, Henry Ford Health, Michigan, and vice chair, Steven Parodi, MD, associate executive director, The Permanente Medical Group.

The AMA helps physicians build a better future for medicine, advocating in the courts and on the Hill to remove obstacles to patient care and confront today’s greatest health crises. 

Congratulations to Heather Spies, MD, MBA, physician director of clinician experience & well-being at Sanford Health in South Dakota, who was elected to the IPPS Governing Council. 

The IPPS offered several education programs including Navigating Value-Based Contracts: Legal, Payer, and Physician Perspectives, and AI Lightning Rounds: Integrating AI in Clinical Practice. You can view the speaker slides on the IPPS Interim Meeting agenda & resources under “Session slides.”
