Steven Wang, MD, MBA, is a radiologist with Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) in Bakersfield, California. He also serves on the SCPMG board. Dr. Wang is a delegate on the Integrated Physician Practice Section (IPPS) Governing Council.
The IPPS is a member interest group within the AMA for physician leaders in physician-led integrated systems. The section governing council is responsible for directing the IPPS effort at the national level to demonstrate the value of physician-led, coordinated systems of care.
Dr. Wang serves as president of Kern County Medical Society (2021), California Medical Association (CMA) delegate, is a member of CMA subcommittee on Health IT, a member of CMA Council on Medical Services, Alternate Councilor and Government Affairs Committee chair for California Radiologic Society (CRS), and Advisory Committee member for California Department of Public Health.
