2024 MSS Interim Meeting agenda & resources

Information about the 2024 MSS Interim Meeting will be provided as it becomes available. For information about the House of Delegates meeting visit the Interim Meeting of the HOD page.

Only credentialed delegates will be permitted to vote on policy matters and in elections. Staff will email a separate credentialing form to students who indicate they are a delegate via the meeting registration. Advanced credentialing will close on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Students may request a letter for their medical school verifying attendance at the meeting.

Funding Letter of Support

Students may request a Funding Letter of Support addressed to your medical school administrator or state medical society executive to gain funding for the meeting.

Travel grant

Funds are available to help marginalized and under-represented medical students attend the meeting in person. Submit an application by the deadline of Sept. 27,2024.

Dates and deadlines have been established for MSS policymaking leading up to the 2024 MSS Interim Meeting:

• Sept. 15: (11:59 p.m. Central) Final resolutions due
• Sept. 22: (at noon Central) Virtual Reference Committee opens
• Sept. 29: (11:59 p.m. Central): Virtual Reference Committee closes
• Oct. 25: Reference Committee report released

Visit the MSS Virtual Reference Committee forum to review and comment on policy proposals that will be discussed at the meeting. Items will be posted as they become available. The deadline to submit comments for consideration by the MSS reference committee is Sept. 29 at 11:59 p.m. Central.

Elections will take place during the November meeting for two open positions:

• Chair-elect
• Student member to the Board of Trustees
