Druv Bhagavan, an MD/PhD student at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine, serves as alternate delegate of the Medical Student Section (MSS) Governing Council for the 2024-2025 term.
The MSS is a member interest group within the AMA for medical students. The governing council is responsible for directing MSS efforts at the national level to improve medical education and advocate for the future of medicine.
Bhagavan has been a member of the AMA since 2018, having served as region policy chair, regional delegate, delegation chair, and on numerous committees and task forces for the MSS and the AMA. He most recently served as councilor on Council on Constitution and Bylaws.
