Nidhi Reddy, a medical student at California Northstate University, serves as vice speaker of the Medical Student Section (MSS) Governing Council for the 2024-2025 term.
The MSS is a member interest group within the AMA for medical students. The governing council is responsible for directing MSS efforts at the national level to improve medical education and advocate for the future of medicine.
Reddy has been a member of the AMA since 2020, serving as Region 1 chair, Region 1 delegate to the House of Delegates roles in MSS. She serves as a trustee on the California Medical Association Board. She has also served on the CMA Council of Science and Public Health for two years as the CMA-MSS chair. She also serves currently on the Governance Technical Advisory Committee.
