Dayna Isaacs, MD, MPH, serves as vice chair of the Resident & Fellow Section Governing Council for the 2024-2025 term, and as a delegate for the Residents & Fellows section at the American Medical Association.

The RFS is a member interest group within the AMA to provide resident and fellow participation in the activities of the AMA and gives a voice to and advocates for issues that impact them.

Dr. Isaacs obtained a B.S. in biopsychology from the University of California (UC), Santa Barbara and a dual MD/MPH from the University of California (UC), Davis. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of California (UC), Los Angeles, where she also graduated from the medical education pathway with a focus on goals of care. Her professional interests include solid oncology and clinical research, with a particular emphasis on addressing health inequities. She has been deeply passionate about advocacy since medical school and has authored over 30 health policy resolutions and reports.
