YPS Governing Council
The YPS Governing Council is responsible for directing the strategy and activities of the section. The next YPS Governing Council elections will be held at the June 2025 YPS Assembly meeting.
The YPS is looking to fill multiple positions on its governing council:
- Chair-elect
- Speaker
- Member at-large
The nominee, nominating person or organization must submit a nomination form by May 10, 2025, but you can still submit a nomination form during the 2025 YPS Annual Assembly meeting.
In addition to being responsible for directing the programs and activities of the section, YPS Governing Council involvement includes attending the governing council meetings, which serve as the platform for setting YPS direction and activities. Attendance is also required at regular virtual meetings.
