STEPS Forward Pearl of the Week

Listening closely to your team will help you uncover local opportunities for improvement, or LOFIs. This is the first component of the LISTEN-SORT-EMPOWER approach, a team-based model focused on eradicating the root causes of professional burnout. The approach assumes systems and behaviors, not people, are the source of many practice problems. The next steps in this approach are to sort and prioritize the LOFIs and empower team members to make changes.
