Help physicians feel supported and valued
Structural obstacles in the health care system lead to physician burnout—it is not because physicians lack resilience. Organizations can support their physicians and their individual goals through a number of strategies: Encourage taking time off, limit unnecessary meetings and surveys, communicate organizational goals, and avoid contacting physicians during their time off.
