AMA Poster Showcase

The American Medical Association invites medical students to submit an abstract for presentation at the AMA Poster Showcase. The Poster Showcase will take place on Nov. 8 in conjunction with the AMA Interim Meeting of the House of Delegates at the Walt Disney World Swan Resort.

Poster Hall descriptions

• Research Challenge Semifinals: The top scored 50 posters from the 2024 AMA Research Challenge semifinals will be displayed for event attendees to review the research and submit scores to help determine the top 5 that will advance to the finals round. For a fun, interactive experience, members can scan the QR on each poster and cast their score! 
• Research Challenge Showcase: 60 medical students, residents, and international medical graduates featured in the 2024 AMA Research Challenge poster symposium will present their work. 
• Poster Showcase: 150+ medical students with research on a variety of topics will present their poster. 
• Sections Showcase: Speak with members from the 12 AMA interest-based groups that offer the opportunity to shape AMA policy, increase relevant knowledge and skills, and interact with peers with similar interests or backgrounds 

• A unique opportunity to fine-tune your presentation skills in front of nationally recognized medical leaders and your peers.
• Opportunity to attend the AMA Interim Meeting of the House of Delegates.
