North Carolina Medicaid has expanded its coverage benefits to include home blood pressure devices and reimbursement for self-measured blood pressure (SMBP) clinical services.

AMA has developed guidance to assist physicians and care teams in ordering SMBP and validated blood pressure devices for their patients.
