National Board of Medical Examiners Student Roundtable

Medical students are invited to provide valuable input on decisions that may impact their future careers

The NBME Medical School Student Roundtable (MSLR) consists of leaders from various national medical student organizations. Their role is to collaborate with NBME professionals at least twice per year with the goal of enhancing the NBME's partnership in medical assessments. Student leaders relay thoughts and questions they solicit from their organization's peers prior to NBME meetings to create ongoing bi-directional lines of communication. These student leaders are encouraged to disseminate information obtained from these meetings, as appropriate, back to their organization's peers.

  • Participate in Zoom meetings and solicit questions from peers prior to the meetings.
  • Participate in additional focus group meetings when requested. On occasion, NBME convenes a special purpose meeting or a conference call to discuss issues related to new initiatives or changes in the environment.
