Overview
The AMA STEPS Forward® Innovation Academy Learning Collaboratives are designed to help implement organizational improvements in important areas of practice, including workflow, teamwork and clinician well-being. Participants embark on system-level changes guided by subject matter experts and are accountable for their own progress, communication and completion. By sharing successes and failures with others, participants can learn, iterate and improve upon their own efforts.
The Augmented Intelligence (AI) Governance Learning Collaborative will help participants build a framework for the ethical, equitable, responsible and transparent use of AI in practice. The AMA uses the term "augmented intelligence" to emphasize AI's role in assisting and enhancing human intelligence, rather than replacing it.
