Join the AMA for the inaugural AMA Coaching Summit: Empowering learners and educators through coaching, Aug. 13–14 in Chicago, Illinois. This national conference will highlight how coaching transforms medical education through innovation, evidence and collaboration.
Featuring breakout sessions, workshops, and poster presentations, the summit is designed for physicians, educators, learners, academic leaders and health systems stakeholders across the continuum of medical education. Presenters from undergraduate and graduate medical education, as well as continuing professional development, will share their knowledge of coaching from both the coach and coachee perspectives. Join us to engage with national leaders to explore cutting edge tools and shape the future of coaching in physician professional development.
The AMA Coaching Summit will address the following priority areas in coaching:
- Coaching across the medical education continuum (UME, GME and CPD)
- Innovative models and frameworks for coaching
- Faculty development capacity building
- Leveraging coaching to achieve optimal learner outcomes and well-being
