CPT® Assistant and Clinical Examples in Radiology subscription FAQs

Due to the decommission of the current platform that hosts CPT Assistant Online and Clinical Examples in Radiology Online, the American Medical Association (AMA) is migrating subscribers of these products to InnoviHealth, where they will be able to access the content via the InnoviHealth platform.  CPT Assistant Online and Clinical Examples in Radiology Online subscribers will continue to have access to the same essential coding content on a platform that maintains a familiar user experience while offering improved functionality and enhanced features. 

All CPT Assistant Online and/or Clinical Examples in Radiology Online existing subscriptions will be honored by InnoviHealth for the remainder of your subscription. You will continue to have access to your content. After the migration, all questions about the product subscriptions should be directed at InnoviHealth. When your subscription is up for renewal, pricing will be communicated by InnoviHealth.

Yes. After the migration, CPT Assistant Online will include the features and content from Clinical Examples in Radiology Online. Merging the two online products allows for a more comprehensive set of resources within a single coding solution and offers subscribers additional value.

If you are an existing CPT Assistant Online and/or Clinical Examples in Radiology Online subscriber, your current pricing will be honored by InnoviHealth for the remainder of your subscription. When your subscription is up for renewal, pricing will be communicated by InnoviHealth.

We are committed to ensuring a smooth migration with minimal disruption to your subscription access. Our goal is to maintain uninterrupted access to your subscription throughout the process, and any brief interruptions—if they occur—you will be notified by the AMA of any expected disruptions.

We will provide instructions on how to access subscriptions and guidance to walk you through the new interface. Additionally, InnoviHealth will be available to answer questions and troubleshoot any issues you might encounter on the new platform, beginning April 1, 2025. 

Some highlights include:

  • Updated, enhanced user interface. Enjoy improved usability, functionality and overall user experience.
  • Integrated Clinical Examples in Radiology Online content: Gain clarity and focus on radiology codes directly within the CPT Assistant Online product.
  • Simple search capabilities: Search by keyword, phrase, code number or article index.
  • Homepage alerts: Stay current with updates about new issues of CPT Assistant.

No. If you have a subscription to RBRVS DataManager Online, your access will remain unchanged. No migration is required and if you have the site bookmarked, those URLs will remain the same.

No action is needed. Your RBRVS DataManager Online subscription will continue to function as usual on the AMA platform, without any changes or updates required on your part.

For subscribers with multiple products, only the CPT Assistant Online and Clinical Examples of Radiology Online subscriptions will migrate to InnoviHealth. Your RBRVS DataManager Online subscription will remain on the AMA platform.
