Augmented intelligence (AI) holds enormous potential to help physicians and transform their practices—enhancing diagnostic accuracy, building personalized treatments or reducing administrative burden. A recent survey showed that physicians who used an AI assistant to help with their documentation saved more than three hours a week.
Yet physicians also have concerns and ample questions about AI’s potential to exacerbate bias, increase privacy risks or introduce new liability concerns.
