STEPS Forward Pearl of the Week

Successfully completing a quality improvement (QI) project often requires considerable time and effort. Share and celebrate the results, even for a small-scale project, by reporting it in your organization’s newsletters, presenting it during a lunchtime meeting, or posting about it on a bulletin board in a common area. When patients contribute to your QI efforts through a survey, tell them the results to encourage them to continue to offer feedback.
