Carl G. Streed Jr., MD, MPH, FACP (he, him)

Carl G. Streed Jr., MD, MPH, FACP, is an internist and professor at Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine and serves as delegate of the LGBTQ+ Section.

The LGBTQ+ Section is a member interest group within the AMA dedicated to addressing issues that impact LGBTQ medical students, residents and fellows, physicians and patients.

Dr. Streed has previously served on the Advisory Committee of LGTBQ Issues as vice chair  and chair as well as roles with MSS, RFS and YPS.  Dr. Streed has served in roles with many other organizations including president of USPATH, board member of WPATH, Society of General Internal Medicine and Doctors for America.
